Towne Auto kicks off Major Sales Event to celebrate 50th Anniversary

In celebration of Towne Auto Group’s 50th anniversary, a portion of all sales will be donated to FeedMoreWNY, an organization that is the result of the recent merger of Meals On Wheels of WNY and Food Bank of WNY. After learning that Meals on Wheels was also marking it’s 50th anniversary and the Food Bank was celebrating its 40th, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to give back to the community in which we are always proud to call our home.

FeedMore WNY served over 13 million meals to children, families, seniors and veterans in the Western New York community last year. We are honored to help this strong organization in its mission to help people in need of something so very basic for survival.

All of our 17 franchises throughout Western New York will be offering our best deals possible to celebrate our 50th anniversary and to thank the community for their tremendous support over the years. We would also like to recognize my father and Towne founder Franklin Downing, Sr. and my brother David Downing—as well as our our incredible team of over 500 employees— for their work in building a great foundation as we look forward to the future.
